Our Story

Parenting in this day and age is really hard, and don’t we know it!

As parents of young kids ourselves, we often juggle so many levers in our day-to-day lives. How do we ensure our kids are tech-savvy but not a gadget zombie? How do we help kids create using technology rather than just consume? What activities can we do together? How do we encourage our kids to be social creatures yet with confidence and keep their unique personalities? With so much academic pressure at schools, how do we help them learn concepts in a more “fun” way?

Logika was built by four mums (with collectively 9 young kids between us!) who endlessly searched for new, creative yet enriching gadget-free activities that they can do together at home or with friends. Having come from various STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) fields, we wanted to create an environment where children’s boundless curiosities are answered through exciting hands-on experiments. From there Logikrate was born!

Logikrate (Logika Crate) are fun hands-on activity boxes based on STEAM concepts that ignite kids’ creativity and maker movement naturally. Each box comes with clear step-by-step instructions for the project. All of the materials needed for the project are inside the box. So fuss-free for parents too!

It’s amazing to see how empowered kids grow their confidence, develop their logical thinking and problem solving skills, when they build a project from scratch! We’ve had loads fun creating these kits, so we hope you and your little STEAM Troopers do too.
